Las Vegas—Karndean Designflooring will unveil new designs for its LooseLay collection at Surfaces 2026 in Booth 2847.Karndean, LooseLay
The luxury vinyl supplier will introduce 10 new wood- and stone-inspired visuals ahead of a late-spring launch. Retailers can preview the designs during the show.
“We always look forward to Surfaces,” said Bill Anderson, CEO of Karndean Designflooring. “It’s a special opportunity to see our customers and reaffirm our commitment to being a strong, reliable partner.”
New LooseLay designs
The spring launch expands stone-inspired options in the LooseLay line. The additions include three travertine visuals in 18 x 36, three terrazzo visuals in 24 x 24 and one marble design in 24 x 24.
Karndean will also add three wood visuals, including one inspired by koa and two inspired by elm.
Loose lay luxury vinyl combines layout flexibility with fast installation. Karndean’s K-Wave friction-grip backing allows planks and tiles to be cut and installed in custom layouts. Installers only need adhesive at the perimeter. The backing also helps reduce noise between floors and provides comfort underfoot.
LooseLay features a 20 mil wear layer and SureFit technology. The construction improves dimensional stability and removes the need for expansion gaps and transition strips.
“From installation to style and performance, LooseLay offers a unique combination of benefits,” said Jenne Ross, director of product at Karndean. “We’re excited to give retailers more stylish options this year.”
Additional booth highlights
Karndean will also show new elm-, oak- and pine-inspired designs in the Van Gogh collection. Each design features a 20 mil wear layer and will be available in gluedown and rigid core constructions. The new Van Gogh designs will launch in the second half of 2026.
The company will introduce three new Karndean Design Aesthetics for 2026. Each aesthetic represents a distinct interior style and includes curated flooring recommendations.
“It’s common for homeowners to struggle when choosing flooring for an entire space,” said Julie Thomas, senior retail channel manager at Karndean. “Retailers can use these design aesthetics to guide customers to a floor they’ll love.”
Karndean will also host a prize giveaway tied to the 2026 Design Aesthetics. Visitors who scan QR codes at booth displays will be entered to win a Karndean Design Aesthetics sales kit.
